Electoral watchdog, the Election Resource Centre (ERC) has revealed that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) has confirmed that there is a missing polling station in Glen View.
As a result of the missing polling station, voters have been asked to use nearby polling stations. However, since the election is polling station specific, if the voters do not find their names on the voters’ roll they will be unable to vote. Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, the ERC said
A polling station meant to be at Glenview 1 Shopping Centre is reportedly missing. Potential voters who were allocated there are wandering in the area. Some tried to vote at nearby polling stations but were turned away. We have reported the issue to Zec and we await feedback.
