The voters roll is a document in which all persons who have registered as voters are listed. There is a national voters roll, a constituency voters roll and a ward voters roll.
In order to vote in an election in Zimbabwe the person concerned must be registered as a voter. Voters are registered in the wards in which they are resident. If they move from the place where they are registered and wish to vote in the place where they now reside they must transfer their registration. Voter registration is a continuous process and persons may register at any of the registration centres that are listed in the link below. When elections are pending there will be an intensive voter registration campaign. All voters should inspect the voters roll to ensure that their names appear on the roll and that their details are correctly set out.
The office of the Registrar-General of Voters registers voters under the supervision, direction and control of the ZEC. The voters rolls are compiled by ZEC.
